 Active Silicon’s ETXe Vision Systems are based on the COM Express mezzanine standard which allows a wide variety of third party processor modules to be fitted, and uses PCI Express technology for high data rates. The processor module connects to the carrier board which contains all of the I/O interfaces. For volume applications, carrier boards can be customized to provide different I/O interfaces such as Camera Link® and standard analog video or alternatively increase the number of independent GigE Vision™, SD HDI & Firewire ports for multi-camera applications. The key feature with the vision system is that the functionality as well as the I/O connector positions can be fixed for the lifetime of the product and is well suited for OEM industrial, medical and defense applications. |
